For use in actual public service, in addition to great computation efficiency, developed electron devices must demonstrate high reliability enough for us to use without any concern. Recent device development is inevitably dependent on reliability discussion against radiation even on the ground to deal with natural alpha- and neutron-radiation bombardments. This discussion often relies on radiation Monte Carlo simulations. Their effectiveness must be gauged to fine structures designed in the atomic scale, which the spintronics hinge on clearly. This study will firm it up through a group discussion with simulation developers and researchers who have expertise in radiation effects.
