About

Mission

Foster mutual understanding and cooperation among partners form industry, academia and government of leading regions to advance innovations in electronics, computing, communications and related industries. Latest science and technology trends on Nanoelectronics as well as overviews of major funding programs will be presented from leading regions to share views on scientific and societal challenges for sustainable technological and economic growth.

Vision

Information processing and communication devices have been and further grow to be indispensable foundations everywhere in our society and industry. Yet, the long-lasting progress in semiconductor technology is now facing fundamental difficulties, such as limiting miniaturization and increasing power consumption. To overcome these issues, comprehensive efforts are needed over all aspects of technologies, ranging from materials, device structures and fabrication processes, to system architecture, software and applications, and even societal infrastructures. Thus, collaborations among leading regions are imperative.
