Tokyo Forum 2013 will be held.
Dr. Robert Heath Dennard from the Thomas J. Watson Research Center of IBM Corporation received “the 2013 Kyoto Prize” on November 10th of this year, who had invented the Dynamic Random Access Memory (DRAM) and proposed the guidelines for FET miniaturization.
Prof. Tetsuo Endoh, the director of Center for Innovative Integrated Electronic Systems (CIES), gave a presentation on the research trend of the Spin Transfer Torque MRAM (STT-MRAM) at the 2013 Kyoto Prize commemorative workshop for celebrating this impressive prize-winning.
